Bishopstown House
Bishopstown House offers guests a truly unique accommodation experience. Recently voted among the Top Ten Most Unusual Places to Stay in the UK and Ireland by Lonely Planet.
A fully-restored and renovated Georgian mansion with a rich equestrian history, Bishopstown combines an old world setting with the best in modern features. In 2006, the house was personally chosen by Michael Jackson (who was living in Coolatore for most of 2006) to be part of his Irish estate. Sadly, the King of Pop never got to live there.
The house boasts 8 spacious bedrooms across the main house and extra accommodation in the courtyard area, two large sitting rooms, a dining room with unique round table, a traditional country kitchen, and outdoor patios and can be rented for groups of up to 20 people sharing. It is the ideal venue for celebrations, retreats, group workshops, family get togethers and reunions. Bishopstown House is ideal if you have a large group coming to the studio and need extra accommodation on top of our provided studio accommodation.
